Since 2019, I have been a certified interpreter through the rigorous, systematic, and practical training organized by Interpret Europe.

In 2024, after an additional years of intensive training and education, I became a certified interpretive trainer. I am now qualified to deliver courses, training, and workshops to all stakeholders interested in heritage interpretation.

In general, there are two types of heritage interpretation: personal interpretation, and non-personal interpretation. The latter includes many different types of media, such as panels, multimedia apps, audio guides, etc. Depending from the location and your type of preferences, Interpret Europe’s training program follows 10 quality standards. These include, among others, to offer a variety of activities, to follow the cooperative approach, to be supportive and inspiring, to be rewarding, meaningful, well-prepared, etc. Most activities within any interpretive training (about 70%, depending on the course/module) are based on exercises and first- hand experience.
