Mentorship is not only about guidance — it is about sparking creativity, unlocking potential, and providing practical tools that empower growth.
I am a Certified Interpretive Trainer in heritage interpretation, and since 2024 also a Certified Trainer in Live Interpretation (costume storytelling). Through these approaches, I help people, communities, and institutions connect with visitors in meaningful ways, foster cultural identity, and support sustainable economic growth through heritage interpretation.
At the beginning of 2025, I was selected as a mentor in Creative Mentorship’s Young Professionals programme, which officially launched in April. This programme pairs mentors with emerging creatives to support their professional and personal growth, while also investing in mentors through coaching, peer exchange, and access to resources.
Across different programmes, associations, and collaborations, I have witnessed how creative methods — from storytelling exercises and gamified challenges to hands-on interpretive tools — help mentees think differently, gain confidence, and find their authentic voice.
A Creative Mentorship Toolkit
- Reflection tools — storytelling, journaling
- Engagement tools — games, tasks, simulations
- Connection tools — shared projects, collaborative problem-solving
These are not abstract ideas — they create tangible change. They are also the very tools that shaped my own path as a professional, a mentor, and a creative entrepreneur working with heritage.
👉 At its best, mentorship is a two-way street: every time knowledge is shared, both sides learn, evolve, and expand their horizons.
🌿 It is not only about giving or receiving — it is about co-creating a creative community where everyone grows.
