Invited Again by Interpret Europe and UNESCO
I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected for the Interpret Europe + UNESCO Summer School — for the second time. This international program brings together professionals from across Europe and beyond, focusing on how we communicate the value of cultural and natural heritage.
This year, I am joining as a certified European trainer in heritage interpretation, and I will complete an advanced module to become a global trainer in live interpretation and historical reenactment — also known as costumed storytelling or living history.
Why Interpretation Matters
Heritage interpretation isn’t just about telling stories from the past. It’s a way to bring meaning, emotion, and relevance to places, people, and traditions.
This Summer School offers not only capacity building, but also practical, applicable tools that professionals can integrate into everyday work — whether in museums, cultural institutions, tourism, or education.
