The SHEΒLeadΒerΒsAR appliΒcaΒtion aims to visuΒalΒize the places where the 5 queens used to live to the visΒiΒtors on their mobile devices. PresentΒly these locaΒtions conΒtain only more or less preΒserved remains of casΒtles, churchΒes, palaces, and monasΒterΒies, so the visΒiΒtors can hardΒly imagΒine how they looked in the past.
The AR appliΒcaΒtion shows the 3D reconΒstrucΒtions of those remains and the queen telling a short stoΒry about them. The queens invite the users to museΒums where the VR appliΒcaΒtion is set up to learn more about them and their lives. After each AR visΒit, the user gets a badge that should obtain some benΒeΒfits while visΒitΒing the museum.
In these weeks we testΒed the AR appliΒcaΒtion on all 5 locaΒtions (BoboΒvac in Bosnia and HerzeΒgovΒina, KruΕ‘eΒvac in SerΒbia, Cetinje in MonΒteneΒgro, SkopΒje in MaceΒdoΒnia, and KruΒje in AlbaΒnia). It works very well and some small issues will be fine-tuned soon.
In this project, my organization HAEMUS is involved as a partner engaged in organization and logistics for the part of the story that takes place on the territory of Macedonia, and I am additionally involved as a scientific consultant of the SheLeadersVR project.
